Rate Control
Direct Command has simply revolutionized application. The unique AutoSwath feature decreases over application – saving input costs and improving environmental stewardship. Direct Command offers complete control over liquid or granular applications, while at the same time logging data and providing real-time application mapping capabilities.

Data Logging
Direct Command automatically records application activities, including applied areas, product volume and more. This information can be easily downloaded into SMS software for analysis. Using this information can help accurately calculate input needs for the following year.

Variable Rate Application
Direct Command allows the variable rate application of single or multiple products. The system controls application rates of liquid and granular products automatically based on geo-referenced prescription maps. Variable rate application is available for spinner spreaders, self-propelled and pull-type sprayers, anhydrous applicators and strip-till toolbars.

Spinner Spreaders
Direct Command simplifies spreader control by controlling the conveyor and spinner speed in addition to monitoring the bin level. The system reads ground speed and automatically adjusts product flow to match target application rate. Direct Command control modules support PWM, motorized servo, Mark IV.2, Mark IV.4 and Mark V hydraulic control valves. Direct Command supports application control of multiple bin spinner spreaders.

Chemical Injection
Direct Command interfaces with the Raven SCS Sidekick™ for complete control over chemical injection applications. Reduce operator exposure to chemicals by eliminating tank mixing and rinsing. Simplify spray system flush between fields and at the end of the day. Use a prescribed rate to achieve correct placement and rate of applications to reduce risk of chemical damage to crop.

  • Supports up to four Raven SCS Sidekick injection pumps plus liquid carrier.
  • Interfaces to chemical injection pump without any wiring modifications.
  • Automated prime and calibration routines.
  • Advanced sensor diagnostics.
  • Can be used for herbicide, fungicide, insecticide and N-Serve injection applications.
  • Liquid control module required for operation.

NORAC UC5™ Boom Height Control
Both the EDGE and INTEGRA displays feature complete support of the NORAC UC5™ boom height control system – ensuring ideal crop coverage without drift or wasted product. All setup, calibration and run-time operation of the UC5 is controlled using an Ag Leader compatible display.

  • Reduces operator fatigue by eliminating terrain monitoring “look backs”.
  • Boom height is controlled by sensing either soil surface or crop height.
  • Ultrasonic sensors eliminate potential crop damage from gauge wheels or “feelers.”
  • Severe Terrain option can provide better accuracy in rougher field terrain.

Smart Report™
Direct Command’s Smart Report simplifies application reporting (both liquid and granular), providing an easy way to generate detailed application reports for government record keeping. Reports provide location, product information, applied totals, field areas, as-applied maps and field boundaries.

  • Enter basic information about weather, soil conditions, products used, etc.
  • Automatic creation of PDF reports that can be saved, emailed or printed.
  • Requires no additional software.

Strip-Till Granular Control Module
Direct Command for strip-till applicators monitors bin level and fan speed sensors, maintains accurate application rate and supports multiple product prescription rate control. Apply anhydrous at the same time with the addition of a liquid control module. One pass across the field reduces yield robbing soil compaction, saving fuel costs, equipment hours and time.

  • Up to three channels of granular product control.
  • Supports PWM or hydraulic valve product control.
  • Supports bin-level and fan speed sensors.
  • Monitors fan speed with user-defined high/low limits.
  • Product shut off option if fan speed falls below a minimum setting.
  • Apply NH3 liquid and dry products simultaneously with the addition of a liquid control module.
